Andrew (Pat) Waldo was a co-founder and CEO of Decernis (2003 – 2020). He expanded the company internationally, working with global manufacturers to improve compliance systems for food, chemical and consumer products. In 2019 Mr. Waldo negotiated its acquisition by a private equity firm and FoodChain ID.
Prior to Decernis, Mr. Waldo founded a company in 1989 in the area of chemical control acquired in 2002 by Eastman Chemical.Mr. Waldo has led the development of integration with enterprise systems and of multi-lingual AI systems to identify client risks.
He is the author of a number of patents in this area. He developed a control system that was a finalist of a Smithsonian Institution Award for Innovation..
